Every need catered for - beautifully

An 18th Century Manor House situated in the centre of a traditional Buckinghamshire village surrounded by attractive walled gardens and with stunning views overlooking our lake and Aylesbury Vale. We are less than one hour from London and Birmingham and just twenty minutes from Oxford.

All 33 rooms have en-suite facilities, nurse call systems and profiler beds which provide easy access and comfort. Some are situated on the ground floor with large French windows that open onto the terrace. Short stay rooms are fully furnished and have direct dial telephone, digital radios and televisions with Freeview channels, DVD player and WiFi.

The large, comfortable drawing room is equipped with a widescreen TV/video/DVD player. There are separate public areas on all floors for the use of guests, families and friends. Two lifts in the house enable easy access to the upper floors in particular the small library on the top floor. Meanwhile Wifi is available throughout the house, enabling friends and family as well as residents to use any device to share photos and communicate easily and a computer station is available for all residents to make use of.

Everyone can enjoy the gardens and terrace and an expanding network of paths through the orchard and grounds provide safe and easy walking in to and around the quiet village of Chilton.

Healthy eating is a priority at Chilton. We believe that well-presented, home cooked and nutritious meals are a vital part of recovery. All our food is prepared and cooked by our own chefs using the best local seasonal ingredients. Breakfast is served in your room at a time of your choice. Lunch and Supper are served in the elegant dining room or in your room if you prefer. The menu is varied and there are always alternative choices for a recovering appetite. Our chefs will cater for special dietary requirements. Guests are always welcome.

Chilton House recognises that physiotherapy plays a crucial part in the recovery & rehabilitation process and we have a dedicated physio room used by the team of in-house physiotherapists for treatments and exercises.

Our experienced in-house team of physiotherapists are all MCSP qualified and are available 5 days a week. Nursing staff support this programme with follow up exercises. An optional ‘out-patient’ physiotherapy clinic offers the opportunity for continuing the recovery process once the patient returns home.
